Educating ‘Temple Cultures’ Heterogeneous Worship and Hindutva Politics in Kerala

Contrary to the popular imagination of Kerala as a secular, rational left bastion, state is witnessing Sangh Parivar’s active presence in domain temples and everyday culture. This study attempts examine anxiety Rashtriya Swayamsevak its sympathisers about ‘true’ knowledge on temple culture, their efforts teach Brahmanical rituals other forms worship such srividya kuladevathas. I argue that Parivar interested heterogeneous practices part ideological expansion.
